New Delhi [India], May 13 (ANI): BJP leader Manoj Tiwari slammed the Delhi Chief Minister over his "10 guarantees" and said that Arvind Kejriwal's days are over and the people of Delhi will finally say bye to him in 2025 assembly elections.
Earlier on Sunday, the Delhi Chief Minister announced his 10 'guarantees.'
"I want to remind you (Arvind Kejriwal) that you gave the guarantee that you will clean the Yamuna River and will take a dip in it along with the people. You gave a guarantee that you would never ally with any party, but now you have allied with 25-26 parties. You said that you wouldn't buy a bungalow or car but now you stay in 'Rajmahal' and you have a convoy worth crores," Tiwari said.
"Now your guarantees are over and the people of Delhi will finally say bye to you in 2025. Kejriwal is mentally bankrupt. Now only Modi's guarantee works in this country," he added.
Free electricity, education, and health, two crore jobs in the next year, and giving full independence to the Indian Army to reclaim India's land currently occupied by China were among 10 promises Kejriwal made on Sunday.
"These 10 guarantees are like the vision of India. Some things should have been completed in the last 75 years... These things are like laying the foundation stone of any nation. Without them, the nation cannot move ahead. Those works will be completed in the next five years," Kejriwal said.
He also said that he would make sure these "guarantees" are implemented when the INDIA bloc is voted to power after the Lok Sabha elections.
For farmers of the country, the party promised that by determining the MSP on all crops according to the Swaminathan Commission, farmers will be provided full prices for their crops.
On unemployment, AAP said that unemployment will be removed systematically and promised that two crore jobs will be created in the next year.
The ninth guarantee caters to corruption in which the party said that the existing system of sending honest people to jail and giving protection to the corrupt will be abolished.
The tenth and last guarantee is related to business in which the AAP said that GST will be ended. He said that GST will be taken out of PMLA (The Prevention of Money Laundering Act) and all laws and administrative systems will be simplified to promote trade and industry on a large scale. (ANI)
