Muzaffarpur (Bihar) [India], September 7 (ANI): Union Minister JP Nadda on Saturday inaugurated the super-speciality block of Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital in Muzaffarpur and said that people will not have to go to Patna or Delhi for issues like cardiology, nephrology among others.
Addressing the public, Nadda said, "A world-class, state-of-the-art super-speciality block is being built. The number of beds in this block will be increased, and this will take the total number of beds in the hospital to 1205. For issues concerning cardiology, vascular surgery, nephrology, neurology, and neurosurgery, among others, people will not have to go to Patna or Delhi. All facilities will be available in Muzaffarpur. These facilities have been extended to Darbhanga, Bhagalpur, Gaya, and Patna as well."
"Did you ever imagine that medical colleges would be established in places like Purnia, Jamui, and Saran?" he asked.
Further, the Union Minister highlighted that today, eight new medical colleges are being opened, and Bihar will soon have 35 medical colleges in total.
"A new story of progress is being written. This has been made possible because you elected PM Modi for the third time. The power of your vote is immense. When you vote wisely, you get the right leadership, and with the right leadership, comes the establishment of medical colleges. There was a time when women couldn't step out of their homes after 5 pm because of the unsafe environment. You must understand the power of your vote," Nadda added.
The BJP National President also mentioned that during the COVID-19 pandemic, even a country like America struggled, but under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India developed two vaccines and carried out the world's largest vaccination program.
"We also exported vaccines to many countries and provided free vaccines to 48 nations. India is no longer a country that asks; it has become a country that gives. Today, extreme poverty in India has dropped to less than 1 per cent. India, which was once the 11th largest economy, now stands strong even as major economies like the U.S., Russia, and Japan face financial crises. Under PM Modi's leadership, India has emerged as a robust economy," JP Nadda said. (ANI)
