New Delhi [India], July 24 (ANI): The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams are continuously engaged in Rescue and Relief operations with full zeal and commitment in various flood prone areas across the country.

New Delhi [India], July 24 (ANI): The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams are continuously engaged in Rescue and Relief operations with full zeal and commitment in various flood prone areas across the country. Bihar: One NDRF team is operational at Ariya Panchayat Majheri Block Nirmali, District - Supaul, in connection with drowning of 2 person in Koshi canal. Assam: One NDRF team is operational at Bina Kandi District - Cachar, Assam where 3 persons got missing into a Nallah. The rescuers of NDRF are relentlessly engaged to trace the victims. Arunachal Pradesh: One NDRF team is operational at Doragajan, East Dimapur, Arunachal Pradesh where 1 person is missing in Dhansari River. Rajasthan: Today, one NDRF team pre-positioned at Banaskatha District, Rajasthan conducted rescue operation at Alvada, Tehsil- Dhanera and rescued a person who got stuck due to flash flood. Besides, team also shifted 19 Cattles (Buffalo) to safer places. Gujarat: Yesterday one NDRF team carried out search and rescue operation at Lalka, Tehsil- Babra, District- Amreli, Gujarat, in connection with drowning of 2 persons and retrieved both bodies of victims. Today, Three NDRF teams are carrying out search and rescue operation at Palanar, District. Banaskantha and rescued 333 persons so far. Besides response to flood rescue operation, one Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) team of NDRF responded to a gas leakage incident at Keteya in district Gopalganj, Bihar where emission of irritating gas from a Paint/Thinner Godown created panic among the populace. On requisition of local administration, one CBRN team of NDRF from NDRF base Patna, Bihar moved to spot and cleared the area. DG NDRF is monitoring the situation closely and in touch with other agencies and stakeholders for further development of situation. (ANI)
