Patna (Bihar) [India], October 20 (ANI): A meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) was held on Sunday in which Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) Bihar chief Raju Tiwari and other senior leaders discussed election strategy for the upcoming by-polls.
Exuding confidence in winning the Bihar by-polls on four seats, he told ANI, "All leaders of NDA allies, all state presidents, other senior leaders, Deputy CM and JD(U) national president were present in the meeting. Sitting together, it was decided how to win by-polls on 4 seats with a huge margin...NDA will win all 4 seats."

The bypolls in Bihar will be held in Ramgarh, Tarari, Imamganj and Belaganj.
Tiwari also condemned the recent Bhagalpur violence caused due to the vandalism of a temple and its idol, stating that such incidents are unacceptable and not aligned with the NDA's values.
"All of this is wrong. This should not happen. NDA doesn't indulge in such politics. In the tenure of CM Nitish Kumar, there were no such riots and violence in Bihar. Now some miscreants are doing this. The state government will give them treatment," he said.
Meanwhile, the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) in Bihar on Sunday announced its candidates for the upcoming by-elections in four assembly seats.
Roshan Kumar Majhi has been nominated from Imamganj, Vishwanath Kumar Singh has been fielded from Belaganj, Ajit Kumar Singh from Ramgarh and Raju Yadav from Tarari.

The assembly elections in Bihar are likely to be held in October-November 2025. (ANI)
