New Delhi [India], June 2 (ANI): Leaders from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party expressed confidence in the Narendra Modi government coming back to power for the third time as the exit polls results predicted a landslide victory for the National Democratic Alliance.
Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Raman Singh said that the country will now move on the path of Sanatan which will set the stage for India to emerge as the third largest power in the world.
"The kind of results that are being seen across the country, shows that this country will move on the path of Sanatan, which is ancient as well as the most modern. The poor, workers, farmers, and women of the country have put their stamp on the 10 years of development. The third term will be for the glorious development of the country, it will be a start towards making India the third largest power in the world..," Singh said speaking to ANI on Saturday.
Slamming the opposition INDIA bloc, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that people have recognised the real face of the opposition and have accepted Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"People have understood the reliability of PM Modi and have recognised the real face of the opposition. The people have understood that the opposition has come to save themselves...The people have accepted PM Modi," Singh said.
Meanwhile, as the exit polls predicted the victory of the Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra, BJP leader Kirit Somaiya said that the ruling alliance will gradually emerge victorious in the state Assembly elections and after that in the Mumbai Municipal Corporation.

" ...Now nobody can stop India...Uddhav (Thackeray) what will happen to you now? Now, who will go out of India, PM Modi or Thackeray? People of Maharashtra have once again expressed their trust in PM Modi...now Lok Sabha elections, after 4 months, Assembly elections and after 8 months, Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections, PM Modi will have hattrick victory in Maharashtra," Somaiya said.
Sive Sena leader Manisha Kayande said that the nation will see Prime Minister Narendra Modi's magic in the poll battle for the third time.
"The exit polls are full of hope... The results on June 4 would be even better... We will see Modi's magic for the third time...," he said.
The Eknath Shinde faction of the Shiv Sena is in alliance with the BJP in Maharashtra and is part of the ruling Mahayuti alliance.
With the exit polls predicting that the BJP may open its account in Kerala with this Lok Sabha elections, Union Minister V Muraleedharan said that massive anti-incumbency and the antipeople policies by the Left parties in the state paved the way for the success of the BJP.

"This time there were two factors that were favourable for BJP and NDA in Kerala. First, there was a massive anti-incumbency, anguish against the ruling regime and the antipeople policies, and the corruption that was being indulged in by the chief minister and his family. All these have made the people vote against the ruling government and its alliance...," Muraleedharan said.
Speaking about the good performance of the BJP in the northeast, MP Pabitra Margherita said that in Assam, the BJP will win 12 out of 14 seats. and win at least 20 out of 25 seats in the region.
"... Our NDA is crossing 370 seats in every survey. We wholeheartedly welcome this but we are expecting the tally to cross 400... In Assam, out of 14 seats, we are sure to get 12 seats. In the northeast, there are 25 seats and we feel that the people of the northeast will give at least 20 seats to BJP...," Margherita said.

The voting for the 543-member Lok Sabha was held simultaneously with the Assembly elections in Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. While the long drawn-out voting process spread over seven phases concluded on Saturday, the counting of votes is scheduled for June 4.
The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance is poised for a hat-trick win in Lok Sabha polls with a massive majority, exit polls predicted on Saturday and indicated that the ruling party at the Centre would improve its performance in several states ruled by other parties.
A few exit polls predicted that the BJP-led NDA could reach the goal of "400 paar" stated by BJP leaders in the run-up to the Lok Sabha polls.
The exit polls predicted that the ruling BJP-led NDA is poised to improve its performance over its 2019 record when it won 352 seats. Two polls predicted the BJP also improving its numbers from the 303 seats it won in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
The Narendra Modi-led BJP is seeking a third term in power, while the opposition INDIA bloc is aiming to wrest power by stopping the juggernaut. (ANI)
