National conference on 'prison reforms' to be held today
New Delhi [India], Sept. 29 (ANI): A two-day national conference on prison reforms will be held in New Delhi today, where heads of prisons of states and union territories will take part. The Union Home Ministry, in a release, said, the conference will provide a platform to stakeholders to exchange ideas and learn from each others experience. It will also provide them an opportunity to showcase their best practices and innovations. The ministry said that for the first time, the Superintendents of Jails from Central Jails and district Jails will share their views and experiences. (ANI)
