Nagrota terror strike: Civilians not targeted as terrorists want local support, says Parrikar

New Delhi [India], Nov. 29 (ANI): Defence minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been briefed on the Jammu and Kashmir's Nagrota cantonment strike and added that it wasn't targeted at civilians.

New Delhi [India], Nov. 29 (ANI): Defence minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been briefed on the Jammu and Kashmir's Nagrota cantonment strike and added that it wasn't targeted at civilians. "Statistics have shown that the attack is on military installations. Civilians are not being targeted. No civilian has been targeted as they seek local support. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been briefed on it," Parrikar said. Three infiltrated terrorists were killed during an encounter with the security forces in the Ramgarh sector along the Indo-Pak International border today. Seven security personnel, including a BSF DIG, a police and a BSF Inspectors and four BSF jawans have also been injured during the operation. The group of militants came in from Pakistan through the International Border in Samba district of Jammu. (ANI)
