Nadda meets President of Tanzania, discusses steps to enhance party-to-party interactions

Both leaders discussed the functioning of their respective political parties and future steps to enhance party-to-party interactions.

New Delhi [India], October 11 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda on Wednesday met President of Tanzania HE Samia Suluhu Hassan in the national capital.

Samia Suluhu Hassan is also the President of the ruling party Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM).


Both leaders discussed the functioning of their respective political parties and future steps to enhance party-to-party interactions.
After meeting with Tanzanian President, the BJP, in a post on X said that Nadda talked about the organisational structure and functioning of the BJP in the meeting with the delegation.

He further said that the BJP and the CCM will continue their interactions in the future too.
"Had a very insightful meeting with the President of Tanzania and Chairman of the ruling party CCM, HE @SuluhuSamia, and senior leaders of CCM. I explained to the delegation BJP's organisational structure and functioning. BJP and CCM will continue their interactions in the future too," Nadda said on X.
Earlier on Monday, the Tanzanian President also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The two leaders held a bilateral meeting at Hyderabad House in the national capital.
During the meeting, Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) was exchanged in various areas between the two sides on October 9. (ANI)
