"My visit to Delhi has been successful for people of Tripura": CM Manik Saha as he highlights developmental discussions during his National Capital visit

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha discussed various developmental initiatives during his visit to Delhi and emphasised that it was a successful trip for the people of Tripura on Sunday.

Agartala (Tripura) [India], October 20 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha discussed various developmental initiatives during his visit to Delhi and emphasised that it was a successful trip for the people of Tripura on Sunday.
In his recent visit to Delhi, Saha stated that to ensure consistent financial support for infrastructure development, he met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other central ministers, including Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, JP Nadda, and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
As part of his recent visit to the capital, Saha said he met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss the expansion of railway connectivity in Tripura and the plans to introduce the Vande Bharat train in the state.
"Development is already underway, but to ensure that there are no obstacles in this process and that we continue to receive financial assistance for infrastructure development and support for employees, I visited Delhi and met with the Hon'ble Prime Minister. I also held discussions with our Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman Ji; met JP Nadda Ji regarding health-related matters; and spoke with the Railway Minister. In fact, I met almost everyone. For example, with the Railway Minister, I discussed expanding railway connectivity in Tripura and the introduction of the Vande Bharat train," Saha told ANI.
Additionally, Saha mentioned that he had detailed discussions with Health Minister JP Nadda regarding the status of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and the Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana. The Tripura Chief Minister also emphasised the need to procure more advanced medical equipment in his interaction with the Union Health Minister.
"With regard to healthcare, I had detailed discussions on the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and the Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Although we have already launched the Super Speciality facility in Tripura, I also discussed the need to procure more advanced medical equipment. Additionally, I raised the issue of the Pay Commission," added Saha.
Highlighting various developmental initiatives, the Tripura Chief Minister said his recent visit to Delhi was highly successful for the people of the state.
"I discussed all these matters with the Hon'ble Prime Minister, and since we have a Double-Engine Government here, we always receive all possible support from the Centre. Therefore, I can proudly say that my recent visit to Delhi has been extremely successful for the people of Tripura," said Saha.
Earlier, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and apprised him of the ongoing developments in the state, seeking his support on several key matters. During the interaction, the Chief Minister sought the Prime Minister's support for the inclusion of the Bru-Reang community under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) scheme and for increasing the allocation of wheat under the Public Distribution System (PDS).
Later, in a Facebook post after the meeting, Chief Minister Saha stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Tripura is progressing towards the vision of Viksit Tripura, Viksit Bharat.
"Under his visionary leadership, and to fulfil the goal of Viksit Tripura, Viksit Bharat, our government in Tripura has been taking several transformative initiatives. I apprised him of the ongoing developments and sought his kind support on key matters," Saha wrote. (ANI)
