Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], January 15 (ANI): Sanskrit scholar Swami Rambhadracharya Maharaj on Monday slammed the Congress Party for declining the invite for the pran pratishtha ceremony at Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, saying that the grand old party is indulging in 'murkhneeti' not in 'rajneeti'.
While speaking to ANI, Swami Rambhadracharya Maharaj also said that the Congress is doing what an 'angry cat' does.
"It is according to the scriptures. Sanctum sanctorum is complete, and now pran pratishtha is going to take place.... what is wrong with it? It is as per the shashtras. It is 'Murkhneeti' not 'rajneeti'...Khisiyani billi khamba noche (an embarrassed or ashamed person tends to vent his/her feelings by quarrelling)," he said.
He also expressed his happiness over the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and said, "I have the same reaction as the people of Ayodhya when Lord Ram returned after 14 years of exile. There is no limit to my happiness today."
He further said that he gets excited whenever he remembers his struggle for the Ram Temple.
"I had two vows and one of them was that I would come to Ayodhya for Katha only after the decision for Ram Janmabhoomi is taken and the second one is- I will celebrate the coronation of Lord Rama when the verdict is announced in our favour. The God fulfilled both vows... I get excited whenever I think of the struggle for Ram Temple in court.... At least, my knowledge helped in building the temple," Swami Rambhadracharya Maharaj said.
He also said that a 'yagna' has been done since Sunday with the wish to bring back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
"When Hanuman ji can bring back Sita ji, he can also bring back our land," he added.
Further, coming down heavily on the opposition parties, he questioned the works done by the Congress during its rule.
"Political parties and those who are raising questions, actually the thing is that those who have nothing to do will raise only such questions, if (BJP) is doing it to win the elections, then what is big what is a problem? Have other political parties done such a big work? You (congress) have had India for 60 years, what have you done? India has become the fifth largest economy and will gradually become the first. India is growing continuously," he added. (ANI)
