Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], October 15 (ANI): A moment of rare bonhomie between two potential rivals was seen as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kailash Vijayvargiya and Congress MLA Sanjay Shukla shared the stage at a public function.

Both leaders shared the stage at an event organised on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Maharaja Agrasen in Indore.
"On the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Maharaja Agrasen ji, who showed a new direction to the society on the strength of his thoughts and hard work, he participated in the procession taken out in Indore and offered prayers and sent best wishes to the society," Kailash Vijayvargiya posted on X after the event.

Sanjay Shukla will be contesting from Indore-1 against BJP's vocal national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya in the upcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly elections. Shukla won by over 8,000 votes in 2018.
Madhya Pradesh will hold assembly elections on November 17 to elect representatives for its 230 constituencies. The election will be held in a single phase, and the results will be announced on December 3.
Earlier, amid a barrage of acerbic remarks exchanged between the ruling BJP and opposition Congress ahead of the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, people saw a moment of rare bonhomie between two potential rivals as Shukla touched the feet of senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya.
The video of Shukla's act of respect for the BJP general secretary soon became a subject of liking, sharing, reposting and forwarding on social media. The BJP leader also reciprocated with a pat on Shukla's back. (ANI)
