Five Lok Sabha Members of Parliament (MPs) who include Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Virendra Kumar, Durgadas Uikey and Savitri Thakur and one Rajya Sabha MP from the state L Murugan took oath on Sunday.

In the economic, corruption and administrative chaos prevailing in Madhya Pradesh, I hope they (ministers) try to get everything that is necessary for the state and bring prosperity here with the help of the central government."
"Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the crime against SC-ST act. In such a situation, I believe that it is the responsibility of the Congress Party that we should keep an eye on such crimes and inform the state government about it," he added.

Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also congratulated all the ministers from Madhya Pradesh who got a place in the Modi 3.0 government.
