Biswanath (Assam) [India], November 3 (ANI): Union Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita on Saturday hit out at Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi for his remark against BJP, saying who is the Prime Minister of India, Rahul Gandhi-Robert Vadra or mass leader Narendra Modi?
Earlier, Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said that, BJP's downfall started from Jorhat in last Lok Sabha polls and now the people of Behali assembly constituency in Assam's Biswanath district will put the seal of this downfall.
Speaking to reporters Pabitra Margherita said, "Gaurav Gogoi talks about putting seal in BJP's downfall, but I want to ask him which is bigger 11 or 3. Because NDA won 11 seats and Congress won 3 in Assam in the last Lok Sabha polls. Who is the Prime Minister of India, Rahul Gandhi - Robert Vadra or Narendra Modi? In the last Lok Sabha polls, BJP and its ally parties lead in 94 seats out of 126 assembly seats in the state and there is needed 64 seats to form a government in Assam and Congress leads in 29 or 30 seats."
"Ask him which is bigger 94 or 29. I wish him well. He has taken this opportunity to visit the rural areas of Assam and take stock of the environment. He spent many times in abroad," Pabitra Margherita added.
The bye-elections for the Behali assembly constituency and four other seats in the state will be held on November 13.
Portraying an air of confidence, the Union Minister said that BJP and its ally candidates will win all five assembly seats in Assam where the bye-elections will be held on November 13.
