Month long Dussehra celebrations continues in Kullu-Manali

Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel on Thursday distributed 40 electric cars to Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the state in Gandhinagar to facilitate practical training in electric vehicle technology for trainees in the Motor Mechanic trade. During the event, the Chief Minister also inaugurated 50 Dhanvantari Arogya Rath and six Mobile Medical Vans to provide doorstep primary healthcare services to construction workers and labourers.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday said that development work is progressing steadily in the state with the cooperation of the central government.

The Haryana government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation to facilitate free train travel for eligible senior citizens to various pilgrimage sites under the Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana, officials said here on Tuesday.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will finalise its list of candidatesfor the upcoming Assam Legislative Assembly between March 11 to 15.

"What has been seen in these last 15 years is that there is no law and order here. No industry has come, and the Rohingyas and Muslims from Bangladesh have just come here and made them voters here... These people never follow the Constitution. These people have sent their people to show the black flag there," Saha told ANI.

"Lakhs of people participated and blessed us, came to see us. I have not seen this kind of public response in my entire political life. Today is the last day of the second phase, but we will have the third phase as well," CM Sarma said on Monday night, while travelling across a ground of people in Nalbari.

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Monday said that people have to oust this Trinamool Government, which has been unleashing terror in Bengal for the last 15 years, and form a BJP government to restore democracy and peace.

Addressing a gathering at the concluding session of the 'Puthuyuga Yatra' led by Kerala LoP VD Satheeshan here, Rahul Gandhi expressed concerns over the safety of the Indian diaspora living in the Middle East in these times of distress, and asked people to protect their "strength and assets."

"Today, our 'Ashirwad Yatra' is underway in Golaghat. Seeing the enthusiasm among the people here, my heart has become emotional; I thank everyone," he said.
