"Modi guarantee for those who have nothing to offer as guarantee"

"Modi's guarantee is with those who have nothing to give any guarantee. Small-scale farmers had nothing to give guarantees to banks (for loans). Modi has given him PM Kissan Samman Nidhi's guarantee. Poor, Dalits, backward people had nothing to give guarantee to banks. Modi started the Mudra Yojana and they started to get loans without guarantee," the Prime Minister said.

Rewari (Haryana) [India], February 17 (ANI): Addressing a rally in Haryana's Rewari Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that he has provided "guarantees' to even those individuals who failed to provide a "guarantee" to banks or other financial institutions for availing loans.
"Modi's guarantee is for those who had nothing to offer in the way guarantee.
PM Modi started the Mudra Yojana to provide loans up to Rs 10 lakh to non-corporate, non-farm small or micro-enterprises. Under the PM Kissan scheme, income support of Rs 6,000 is provided per year in three equal instalments to all land-holding farmer families.
"Many used to engage in small-scale businesses on carts for decades. They did not have anything to give guarantees. Through the PM Swanidhi Yojana, Modi has taken their guarantee," PM Modi added.
The PM SVANidhi Yojana is a micro-credit facility that provides street vendors with a collateral-free loan.
Speaking about improving the state of women by providing gas connections and piped water connection, PM Modi said, "The state of women in villages was deplorable 10 years ago. They used to spend most of their time fetching water, fetching wood for cooking or other arrangements. Modi came with free gas connections, tap water connection to every home,"
"Today Haryana's women villagers are getting help, they are saving time. They are utilising this time to increase their income. We have also arranged for this," the Prime Minister added.
PM Modi said that the government is working on empowering women under self-help groups by creating "lakhpati didis".
"In the last 10 years, we have engaged 10 crore women with self-help groups. This also includes lakhs of women from Haryana. These groups have been aided with lakhs and crores of rupees. I want to try to make more and more women "lakhpati didis". Till now 1 crore women have become lakhpati didis. Under the Budget that we brought about some days back, we aim to make three crore women lakhpati didis," he said.
The Prime Minister said that the government is training women, under self-help groups, to fly drones which would help them in farming, thereby increasing their incomes..
"We have started Namo Drone Didi Yojana as well. Under this, women self help groups will be trained in flying drones and drones will be given to them. These drones will help in farming and help in furthering the income of women," PM Modi said.
Taking a dig at the Congress party for their false promises to provide One Rank One Pension, the Prime Minister boasted that retired army personnel have got pension worth one lakh crore Rupees through the scheme so far.
"In Rewari, I have given the guarantee of One Rank One Pension to retired army personnel. The Congress has only promised to implement One Rank One Pension scheme by showing Rs 500 crores. I have fulfilled that promise from Rewari. Retired army personnel has got one lakh crore through the One Rank One Pension scheme till now. Haryan's retired army personnel have prospered from this. In Rewari families of army personnel have got more than Rs 600 crores through OROP," PM Modi said. (ANI)
