Milind Deora rules out any internal conflicts in Congress

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Mar 25 (ANI): Congress' Mumbai unit chief Milind Deora on Monday ruled out that there were internal conflicts within the party.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Mar 25 (ANI): Congress' Mumbai unit chief Milind Deora on Monday ruled out that there were internal conflicts within the party.
“I thank Sonia ji and Rahul ji who have given me this responsibility at such a crucial time. Mumbai is a city of diversity. We'll take everyone together and present a positive agenda to Mumbaikars,” Deora said.
Ruling out reports of internal conflicts in Congress, he said: “There is nothing like that. We are working unitedly to make sure that we will win. I am fully confident that we will get the support of all leaders, candidates and party workers.”
On the appointment of Deora as Congress' Mumbai unit chief, Sanjay Nirupam told ANI: “Milind Deora is my friend. I am ready to extend whatever support he needs.”
Congress has named Nirupam as its candidate from Mumbai North-West Lok Sabha seat which is currently held by Gajanan Chandrakant of Shiv Sena. (ANI)
