McGraw Hill Education India launches revised 'self-study' guide for UPSC aspirants

New Delhi [India], Nov. 5 (ANI): McGraw Hill Education India, a global provider of teaching and learning solutions for professionals and students of all ages has launched the revised and updated version of General Studies Paper 1 Manual, a complete self-study guide for thousands of civil services aspirants, with the latest developments and events in every field.

New Delhi [India], Nov. 5 (ANI): McGraw Hill Education India, a global provider of teaching and learning solutions for professionals and students of all ages has launched the revised and updated version of General Studies Paper 1 Manual, a complete self-study guide for thousands of civil services aspirants, with the latest developments and events in every field. The book was unveiled by Vice-Chairman National Institution for transforming India (NITI) Aayog Arvind Panagariya, and Mc Graw-Hill Education Managing Director Kaushik Bellani at Press Club here. McGraw Hill Education India's General Studies Paper 1 manual has been co-authored by 11 leading subject specialists. Each subject has been developed by a specialist trained in teaching that subject. The section on Current Events of national and international importance has been updated till August 2016, which gives a complete panorama of national and international affairs. Panagariya said, "The book is of great benefit to the new generation I wish we had such self help books while we were preparing for the services. All the authors of the book have done great work and have contributed immensely to revise it." "General Studies Paper 1 Manual has been the key for civil service aspirants since last 33 years. The new and improvised version is compiled by a galaxy of well-known subject experts and aims to prepare students as per the changed syllabus," Bellani said. The updated version of the book is a Bi-colour, with more boxes and illustrations for greater recall value. Big chapters have been divided into smaller modules ending with practice questions for easier understanding. The book is available on all leading book stores other than the national and the regional online platforms pan India. MHE started off with traditional print book production and has grown into a leading digital content provider with a strong presence and reputation in various markets.(ANI)
