New Delhi [India], Apr 26 (ANI): Lotus of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seems to be blossoming in all three corporation of the national capital. The trends so far show that BJP is leading in 157 wards, AAP in 45 and Congress in 25. The fierce triangular competition has put on stake reputation of the three major parties. Where the BJP will be fighting against anti-incumbency, the Congress will be jostling for a comeback and for AAP, it will save its image post Goa and Punjab Assembly poll debacle. Taking responsibility for the defeat, Delhi Congress president Ajay Maken announced that he would resign from the post. Meanwhile, trailing behind in the Municipal Corporation polls, AAP on Wednesday again cried foul over EVM tampering and dejected the idea of Modi wave. Asserting that the BJP is winning because of the rigged EVMs, Delhi Transport Minister Gopal Rai said that the saffron swipe in the civic polls is nothing less than a miracle which took place because the tampering of electoral machines. Voting for three new municipal corporations in Delhi took place on Sunday, in which 54 percent of the 1.32 crore electorates exercised their franchise. (ANI)
