Mayawati rules like Mr. India, must travel with me: Uma Bharti
New Delhi [India], Nov. 24(ANI): Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti on Thursday said that Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Mayawati rules like Mr. India and is aloof about the real public reaction to the demonetisation move. "Mayawatiji should come with me because she sits inside her room and rules just like Mr. India. I'm usually travelling by foot in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh most of the time. It is evident that whole public is happy with the demonetisation move," she said. "Only black money hoarders are sad and many will face problems, as they have to fight the Lok Sabha and assembly elections with that money and it is difficult for them to print the notes for their garland that is why she is speaking like that," she added. Upping her ante against the government over the demonetisation move, BSP chief Mayawati today challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to dissolve the Lok Sabha and seek a fresh mandate to know the real mood of the nation. "If Prime Minister has guts, he should dissolve the Lok Sabha, hold elections in the country, that will be the real survey," she said. Earlier, Mayawati called the responses on the Narendra Modi mobile app as 'fake and sponsored'. Prime Minister Modi had on Tuesday asked people to give their first-hand views and rate the Centres decision to spike Rs 500 and 1,000 notes on his official app. (ANI)
