Latehar (Jharkhand), Oct.1 (ANI): Maoists in Jharkhand's Latehar district on Saturday called for a shutdown to avenge the death of their leader Ashish Vigat. The Maoists alleged that Vigat was killed in a false encounter by the police. They warned that they would avenge the death of their leader. All national highways leading to the district were empty due to the shutdown call. (ANI)
