New Delhi [India], July 13 (ANI): Union Minister Mahesh Sharma on Thursday likened Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Mahatma Gandhi, father of the nation, saying both were inspiration to the nation. "Today we are fortunate to have another Gandhiji in the form of our prime minister who is like an inspiration to many," Sharma said at the launch of a book on Gandhi's salt satyagraha. Shamra, while talking about Mahatma Gandhi's contribution in the struggle for independence, said the latter inspired the entire nation with the salt satyagraha, and the prime minister is also embracing the same. "The prime minister believes that if the light of freedom doesn't reach every single person of the country, then that kind of freedom is not justified. It is a dream of our Prime Minister to fulfil the dreams of Gandhiji and to promote his vision for the betterment of the entire mankind. The Ministry of Culture is duty bound and committed to spreading his dreams and thoughts throughout the world for the sake of humanity," he said. (ANI)
