"Mahagathbandhan will contest polls with full strength", says Tejashwi Yadav on INDIA bloc seat-sharing talks
"In how many seats is the BJP contesting elections this time? Has seat-sharing been announced in the NDA? Why are you so concerned about us and not about them?" the Deputy Chief Minister said.

Patna (Bihar) [India], January 19 (ANI): Amid anticipation about seat-sharing talks between the INDIA bloc partners ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav said that no party in the Mahagathbandhan would fight alone.
"Wherever the JDU is fighting, the RJD will fight too. We are with JDU, JDU is with us. Mahagathbandhan will contest the elections with full strength. No party will contest the polls alone. We are working under Nitish Kumar's leadership," the Deputy Chief Minister said.
The RJD, the JDU and the Congress have been holding several rounds of talks to come to an agreement on contesting the 40 Lok Sabha seats in the state.
"That (seat sharing) is between us. We will all contest from respectable seats," he said, declining to speak on seat-sharing talks.
Earlier on Wednesday, former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav said that the decision on seat-sharing 'does not happen so quickly' in an alliance, hinting that the deliberation may take more time.
"Seat sharing does not happen so quickly in an alliance..." RJD chief Lalu Yadav said.
Earlier on January 15, RJD leader and Bihar Deputy CM Tejashvi Yadav said that the BJP had become nervous after the formation of the INDIA bloc.
When questioned by reporters on the exact nature of seat sharing-Tejashwi hit out at the BJP saying the media should ask them how many seats the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is contesting in Bihar and whether the seat-sharing formula in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has been announced.
"In how many seats is the BJP contesting elections this time? Has seat-sharing been announced in the NDA? Why are you so concerned about us and not about them?" the Deputy Chief Minister said, while speaking to reporters on Friday.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections the JDU and the BJP and the LJP fought in an alliance with the BJP winning 17 seats, the JDU 16 and the LJP 6. While the Congress won 1 seat. (ANI)
