New Delhi [India], September 24 (ANI): BJP National Spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla on Wednesday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late mother was abused by the RJD workers in Samastipur in Bihar.
Sharing a media report, Poonawalla claimed that this was the fourth instance of abuses hurled at PM Modi's mother. He alleged that the RJD workers used derogatory language in front of a microphone and a camera.
"Once again, PM Narendra Modi ji's mother has been abused. This is the 4th instance - Congress rally at Darbhanga - Congress official handle tweets deep fake video - abuse by RJD leaders with Tejaswi ji on stage -now abuse by RJD workers in front of a mic and camera. Is it a sanyog (coincidence)? No. Maa ka apman Indi alliance ki pehchaan (Insult to mother is the identity of the INDIA bloc)," he wrote on X.
The X post added, "PM's mother was also abused in Samastipur: Youth carrying RJD flag insulted the Prime Minister, demanding action from SP."
Earlier, Union Minister Nityanand Rai shared a purported video on X showing an unknown man using derogatory language against PM Modi in the presence of Tejashwi Yadav at an RJD public meeting in Bihar.
Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal on Sunday slammed the alleged objectionable remarks made during a rally addressed by Tejashwi Yadav, saying that the leadership of the RJD "has become unrestrained."
Jaiswal told reporters, "The way in which wrong words have been used for Prime Minister Modi's mother in the INDIA alliance and Tejashwi Yadav's rally. You (RJD) say that one of your workers said it, but if you no longer have trust in your workers, then it means that your leadership has become unrestrained."
This came weeks after a similar row erupted over abuses allegedly hurled at PM Modi and his late mother during Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar, after which the NDA called for a Bandh in the state. (ANI)
