LS polls: BJP releases list of 11 candidates for 4 states

New Delhi [India], Mar 23 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday released a list of 11 candidates for the state of Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and West Bengal ahead of the ensuing assembly elections.

New Delhi [India], Mar 23 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday released a list of 11 candidates for the states of Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and West Bengal ahead of the ensuing assembly elections.
Out of 11 seats, six are from Telangana, three are from Uttar Pradesh and one each from Kerala and West Bengal.
Six candidates who will be fielded in the different constituency in Telangana are Soyam Babu Rao (Adilabad), S. Kumar (Peddapalle), Banala Laxma Reddy (Zahirabad), Bhagwanth Rao (Hyderabad), B. Janardhan Reddy (Chelvella) and Vasudev Rao (Khammam).
All 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana will go to polls in a single phase on April 11, which is also the first phase of Lok Sabha elections.
In Uttar Pradesh, BJP has fielded 3 candidates, namely: Pradeep Choudhary (Kairana), Yashwant (Nagina) and Bhola Singh (Bulandshahr). The dates of polling for the 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh are April 11, 18, 23, 29 and May 6, 12 and 19.
K. Surendran will contest from Pathanamthitta constituency in Kerala which will go to polls on April 23.
In West Bengal, BJP has fielded Mafuja Kahtun from Jangipur constituency. West Bengal will have polling in all seven phases, beginning April 11 and concluding on May 19. (ANI)
