Lots of development work underway in entire country, says MoS Civil Aviation Mohol

Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, MoS Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol on Monday said that a lot of developmental work is underway in the entire country, adding that PM Modi is going to inaugurate some of the major projects in Pune on September 26.

Pune (Maharashtra) [India], September 23 (ANI): Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, MoS Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol on Monday said that a lot of developmental work is underway in the entire country, adding that PM Modi is going to inaugurate some of the major projects in Pune on September 26.
"A lot of development work is going on in the whole country, some projects are going to be inaugurated, and the foundation stone will be laid by PM Modi in Pune on September 26. Especially, the new underground route of the metro is going to be inaugurated in Pune... PM Modi is going to lay the foundation stone for this," said MoS Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol, appreciating PM Modi.
Notably, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday announced the PM's upcoming visit to the state and said that he would inaugurate the new underground Metro in Pune and also lay the foundation stone for an elevated route on September 26.
Fadnavis also announced that PM Modi will flag off the underground Metro corridor from Civil Court to Swargate. The PM will lay the foundation stone to extend this route from Swargate to Katraj and an elevated corridor from Pimpri Chinchwad to Nigdi.
Meanwhile, expressing happiness over the Maharashtra government's initiative of renaming Pune Airport to Jagadguru Sant Tukaram International Airport, MoS Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol said, "Pune residents had demanded that their airport be named after Sant Tukaram... I am very happy that today this proposal has been passed in the state cabinet... This is a matter of great happiness... Now after its passing in the Union Cabinet, the demand of Pune residents will be fulfilled."
Fadnavis earlier mentioned that Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol has proposed the Pune airport be named after Sant Tukaram Maharaj. (ANI)
