"Lot of corruption in Telangana" says BJP's Kishen Reddy on meeting Musi project affected people

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], October 2 (ANI): Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday met families who were being relocated due to the Musi riverfront beautification project. He said that these colonies here are around 30-40 years old and that the poor people by working hard bought the land and made their houses here. Lashing out at the Telangana government led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, the BJP leader said that the people in the state did not vote for Congress to get their houses demolished.
"These colonies here are around 30-40 years old. The poor people by working hard bought the land and made their houses here. This land was not given to them by the government. Today, Revanth Reddy is talking about big things like the beautification of the Musi riverfront and the demolition of the houses here. Earlier, KCR also had said the same thing. I want to tell Revanth Reddy that construct houses, not demolish them, and the Central government will help," he said.
Warning the Chief Minister, he said, "Hyderabad did not vote for Congress so their houses are demolished. In the last 6 months, there has been a lot of corruption in Telangana. Revanth Reddy is looting money and sending it to Delhi. I warn Revanth Reddy that we will not let them demolish the houses here, we will fight and we are even ready to go to jail,"
Earlier on Sunday, the Telangana Chief Minister said that the historic buildings located along the Musi River will be developed as famous tourist spots.

Infosys took responsibility for the renovation of the Mahalaka stepwell in Osmania University. Sai Life adopted Manchirevula stepwell. Bharat Biotech will restore the Salar Jung and Ammapalli wells. Adikmet Step Well will be renovated by Dodla Dairy, Falaknuma Step Well TGRTC and Koti Women's College will restore the Residency Step Well, Telangana CMO said. (ANI)
