New Delhi [India], June 8 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP-elect Kangana Ranaut on Saturday said that those people encouraging the alleged slap incident against her must look into their psychological "criminal tendencies" adding that such people must take up yoga or meditation to free themselves from hate and jealousy.
Kangana was allegedly slapped by a CISF constable while she was headed to Delhi for the NDA meeting. An FIR has been lodged against the constable under IPC sections 321 and 341, but no arrest has been made.
In a post on X, Actress turned politician and winner from Mandi Lok Sabha Kangana Ranaut said, "Every rapist, murderer or thief always have a strong emotional, physical, psychological or financial reason to commit a crime, no crime ever happens without a reason, yet they are convicted and sentenced to jail. If you are aligned with the criminal strong emotional impulse to commit a crime violating all laws of the land."
"Remember if you are ok with breaking into someone's intimate zone, without their permission touching their bodies and assaulting them then deep down you are ok with rape or murder also because that's also just penetration or stab only what big deal, you must look deeper into your psychological criminal tendencies," she added.
Kangana further said, "I suggest please take up yoga and meditation or else life will become a bitter and burdensome experience, don't carry so much grudge, hate and jealousy please, free yourself."
On the day of the incident, another video went viral, where the constable said that her mother was among the farmers holding a sit-in protest against the farm laws, which have now been repealed.
On Kangana Ranaut being slapped by a CISF constable, Shiromani Akali Dal leader Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that when people like her make irresponsible remarks as claimed by the CISF official on farmers protest then such a reaction is natural.
"Kangana Ranaut should understand her responsibility instead of trying to please her High Command. Being an actress, she is followed by many people, when you say stupid things and make useless comments then there is a reaction. If someone says such words to your mother that you have said to other people's mothers, you too won't like it. Instead of looking at your mistake, you are calling them terrorists. Your party's policy is to spread poison. Instead of spreading poison, if you spread sweetness, you won't have to face such a situation."
Responding to Badal's remarks, Rashtriya Lok Dal leader Malook Nagar said that it is extremely serious that security personnel attack someone.
"There are two different issues. What someone said during the farmer's agitation is a different issue. Secondly, a Member of Parliament is given a facility and security by the government, in a democratic system under the Parliamentary system. CISF is supposed to give security and escort the MP at the airports. It is extremely serious that a security personnel attacks someone. It should be made sure that such incidents are not repeated," she said.
Meanwhile, farmer leaders Sarwan Singh Pandher and Jagjit Singh Dallewal met with the Punjab Director General of Police, seeking a fair probe into the case of the alleged slapping of Kangana Ranaut by a Central Industrial Security Force constable at Chandigarh Airport on Thursday. (ANI)
