LG Jung strictly instructs police to ensure adequate staff at banks

New Delhi, Nov. 17 (ANI): Lieutenant Governor (LG) Najeeb Jung on Thursday instructed Delhi Police to deploy adequate staff at banks and ATMs and assist the elderly, women, sick and other vulnerable people standing in queues.

New Delhi, Nov. 17 (ANI): Lieutenant Governor (LG) Najeeb Jung on Thursday instructed Delhi Police to deploy adequate staff at banks and ATMs and assist the elderly, women, sick and other vulnerable people standing in queues. "There is sufficient cash reserves available in banks, therefore, people must be patient and not lose their composure while transacting their business. Issues are getting resolved and police has been asked to provide assistance to the people," he said. Jung also issued strict instructions to the police to impound all diesel vehicles which are over 15-years-old in Delhi. He also appealed to households to provide electric heaters etc. to watchmen and guards so that dry burning of leaves is reduced in the coming winter months. (ANI)
