"Leader of propaganda", BJP's CR Kesavan slams Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi

Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], December 23 (ANI): BJP National Spokesperson CR Kesavan responded on Tuesday to LoP Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's claim about BJP attempting to capture institutions in Berlin. Kesavan stated that Gandhi is the "modern-day Goebbels" for badmouthing "Bharat" internationally.
The BJP National Spokesperson said that the LoP has a motive to defame India to destabilise the country. He said that the Leader of the Oppositon in Lok Sabha is using language similar to that of the infamous political activist George Soros.
"Rahul Gandhi is parroting the nefarious and anarchic language of George Soros. His devious motive is to defame and destabilise India", he stated.
Additionally, he abbreviated a new name for the LoP, calling Rahul Gandhi "Leader of Propaganda". He stated that Gandhi spreads poisonous, false propaganda whenever he travels abroad. He also called his foreign visits "Bharat Badnaam Yatra".
"Every time he tries to undermine our cherished democracy, he maligns Baba Saheb Ambedkar's Constitution and Rahul Gandhi tries to tarnish the image of India abroad, but he will not succeed.", he added.
He noted that India has become a "front-ranking nation in the global world order" under PM Modi, and that Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi harbours hate against him.
"In the past 11 years, under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, India has become a strong and self-reliant nation.", said Kesavan.
Criticising the LoP, he added, "Rahul Gandhi, because of his bitter hate for PM and the fact that people have continuously blessed him and his progress in politics, of performance. Rahul Gandhi cannot tolerate it."
This comes after Rahul Gandhi addressed a gathering at the Hertie School in Berlin, Germany and accused the BJP of a "wholesale capture" of institutional frameworks, alleging the party has "weaponised" investigating agencies.
"There is a wholesale capture of our institutional framework. Our intelligence agencies, ED and CBI, have been weaponised. ED and CBI have zero cases against the BJP, and most of the political cases are against the people who oppose them. If you are a businessman and try to support the Congress, you are threatened. BJP uses the institutional framework of India as a tool to build political power." said Gandhi.
Gandhi also claimed the BJP is effectively proposing the "elimination of the Constitution" by undermining its principles of equality. (ANI)
