Last rites of Major Mannadir performed with military honours in Maharashtra

Pandharpur (Maharashtra) [India], Dec. 1 (ANI): The last rites of Major Gosavi Kunal Mannadir, who laid down his life while preventing a major hostage crisis during the Nagrota terror attack, was performed in Maharashtra's Pandharpur district today with full military honours. Scores of people belonging to his village joined the Indian Army personnel as they paid homage to the departed soul. Three terrorist forces stormed an artillery camp near the headquarters of the XVI Corps in Jammu Nagrota on Tuesday. Seven army men, including two officers and five soldiers, lost their life during the gun battle. (ANI)
