Mathura, Aug.1 (ANI): The last rites of Sepoy Babloo Singh, who lost his life while foiling an infiltration bid by Pakistan sponsored terrorists in Kupwara, was held at his native place Mathura this evening.

Last rites of Kupwara braveheart Babloo Singh held in Mathura
Mathura, Aug.1 (ANI): The last rites of Sepoy Babloo Singh, who lost his life while foiling an infiltration bid by Pakistan sponsored terrorists in Kupwara, was held at his native place Mathura this evening. People in large numbers gathered at the funeral procession to pay homage to their hero. On Sunday, the Indian Army paid tribute to two soldiers who lost their lives while foiling an infiltration bid by Pakistan sponsored terrorists in Kashmir. Chief of Army staff General Dalbir Singh laid wreath at the mortal remains of Sepoy Babloo Singh and Sepoy Vishal Chaudhary, which were brought to the national capital from Srinagar by Indian Airlines flight IA 826. Sepoy Babloo Singh was a resident of Jandipur village, Mathura. He was 29 years old and had been in service of the Indian army for 11 years. He is survived by his wife Ravita Devi and two children, a six year old son and a four year old daughter. The present infiltration bid was foiled in the Nowgam District of Kupwara in Kashmir where, in an earlier infiltration bid on July 25, four Pakistani terrorists were killed and one was captured alive. In the encounter that has led to the martyrdom of these two brave soldiers, two terrorists, who had infiltrated from Pakistan, were killed (ANI)
