"KTR came with proposal to merge BRS": BJP MP CM Ramesh

"Long ago, when Kavitha was in jail, KTR had come to my house in Delhi with the proposal to merge BRS with BJP and, in return, sought that no cases be registered and an investigation be made into the scams allegedly committed by the BRS government. I have video proof of the Telangana leader's visit to my house," Ramesh alleged, and dared the BRS leader to swear by God and tell whether he had approached him with such a proposal.

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], July 27 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Chintakunta Munuswamy Ramesh lashed out at Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao over the allegations made by the latter suggesting a "nexus" with the Congress government in Telangana to secure government contracts.
"For the last few days, KTR has been alleging against me. He said that there was a nexus between the BJP and Congress to secure (government) contract. You are alleging that Rithwik Projects belongs to CM Ramesh, but I am not part of the company since I resigned 15 years ago," Ramesh told ANI.
He revealed that KT Rama Rao had put forth the merger proposal in Delhi when Kavitha was in jail. KTR had said that BRS was willing to merge with the BJP if cases against its leaders were withdrawn and not registered further, Ramesh added.
KTR has been challenged to a public debate by the Anakapalli MP, who has strongly denied the allegations made against him.
Speaking to the media on Saturday in Anakapalli district, Ramesh accused KTR of making baseless comments without understanding the facts.
Ramesh clarified that the claim about Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy awarding him nomination works worth Rs 1,650 crore was "completely false". He stated that KTR was misinformed and was misleading the public.
"I will come to the place KTR says. If he comes, let's discuss it in the presence of the media," he challenged. (ANI)
