Kerala vigilance court orders enquiry against Chandy

The Rouse Avenue court on Thursday reserved an order on the bail plea of Satish Chander Vashisht, former Chief Engineer of Delhi Jal Board (DJB). He has been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) in the DJB STP Tender scam case.

Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital marked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on Thursday with a programme focused on patient welfare, nutrition and environmental responsibility.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office, CM Rekha Gupta launched these songs. Schoolchildren sang these songs with great enthusiasm, and the Chief Minister joined them in singing. 

The Supreme Court on Thursday sought the Centre’s response on a plea seeking the return of a West Bengal woman who was allegedly detained in Mumbai and pushed into Bangladesh after her name was deleted from the electoral roll during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
