Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], October 6 (ANI): Lashing out at the previous Telangana government led by Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that they did not consider job recruitment their responsibility despite issuing notifications to fill the vacancies and that the unemployed youth sound the bugle for jobs against the previous government. He added that KCR gave jobs to his family members and not selected candidates.
"The previous government did not consider the recruitment for jobs as its responsibility despite issuing notifications to fill the vacancies. After a long wait, the job aspirants lost faith in them. The unemployed youth sound the bugle for jobs against the previous government. I have also told the youth to throw out the KCR government over the same issue. The agitating youth trusted and gave a mandate to Congress," said the CM while addressing an event where he handed over the appointment letters to the candidates selected for various posts in the Government Departments in Hyderabad.
"My government gave appointment orders to 30,000 selected candidates within 90 days of coming to power at the same place where we took oath. To bring more cheers to every family during the Dussehra festivities, the government handed over appointment letters today. It is a delightful moment that appointment orders are given to 1635 selected candidates today. Clapping by everyone is a witness to the happiness of all family members. Your long-awaited dream come true today," the Chief Minister highlighted.
"The separate state of Telangana has been formed by the sacrifices of numerous youth. All the newly recruited persons will be part of the rebuilding of the Telangana State. It is not only a job but also an emotion. Be responsible in discharging your responsibilities in the job," said CM Reddy.
Hitting out further at the former Chief Minister, he said that KCR gave all the jobs to his family members. "KCR gave jobs to all of his family members. Why KCR did not give jobs to those who were selected in the 2015 job notification? KCR exploited the sacrifices of the unemployed youth and the greatness of the Telangana movement as a shield. Today they are exposed and speaking in their terms"
"Telangana Government will hand over appointment letters to 11,063 selected teachers on October 9. It is our sincerity and responsibility," he announced. (ANI)
