Kashmir valley water bodies start to freeze
Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Dec. 19 (ANI): The sheer dip in temperatures in the Kashmir Valley has resulted in the freezing of most water bodies. The intense cold wave's grip is also hampering normal life. Night temperatures remained several notches below and a thick fog was visible at various places this morning. "The traffic on the road is very less, as last night the valley witnessed the season's lowest temperature. We are facing a lot of problems this season. If it will start raining or there will be snowfall, then the level of cold will decrease. This is a dry season and chances of getting sick are more. I think this time the valley will witness the lowest temperature of all time," said a locals. The valley has not received any rainfall this season as yet. Night temperatures are decreasing. Last night temperature was minus 4.2? Celsius. (ANI)
