"Just like Kejriwal, his filth has to be chased out": Delhi Minister Manjinder Sirsa inspects roads in Rajouri Garden

New Delhi [India], March 20 (ANI): While inspecting the condition of roads and assessing garbage management in his assembly constituency of Rajouri Garden on Thursday, Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa assured people that a roadmap on dealing with the civic problems in the locality, and just like Arvind Kejriwal being "thrown out, his filth also has to be chased out of Delhi."
"Just like Kejriwal has been chased out of Delhi, his filth also has to be chased out of Delhi. We will ensure that no hooliganism is allowed in this area," Sirsa told ANI.
The minister was assessing the condition of roads and garbage management in his constituency, assuring the formulation of a road map for solving things such as cleanliness and encroachment on parks.
"We are working not just for this assembly constituency but for the whole of Delhi. A roadmap will be prepared. We will prepare a roadmap for roads, garbage management, and encroachment on parks," he said.
Meanwhile, Delhi minister Ashish Sood also visited his assembly constituency, Janakpuri to review some of the civic problems people might be facing.
During his visit, he said that the Delhi government is not interested in playing a "blame game" like AAP, and just solve problems of the people.
"After the elections, it is our responsibility to solve the problems of the people of our area. I have come here as an MLA to solve the problems of the people...We will not play the blame game like the Aam Aadmi Party but will solve them with the power of people's votes," he said.
Earlier on March 17, Delhi's Public Works Department Minister Parvesh Verma, during a meeting, took a major step to accelerate development work in the national capital by having various MLAs present the problems of their respective constituencies to officials, expressing that the BJP government is looking to do work "on a war footing."
Minister Verma stated, "Earlier, no work was done because there was no intent, but now the BJP government will work on a war footing to provide relief to Delhi residents."
He further emphasized that the impact of this initiative will be visible on the ground within the next 100 days.
The meeting was attended by officials from PWD, the Delhi Jal Board, and the Irrigation & Flood Control Department. Notably, officials from the specific zones where the constituencies are located were present, ensuring a localized approach to problem-solving.
The key issues which were discussed were regarding repair of roads and drains, Sewer cleaning and drainage management, Flooding and waterlogging solutions, Action against illegal encroachments and Speeding up pending development projects. (ANI)
