JP Nadda praises India's growth, highlights health sector achievements in Ranchi

Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], November 9 (ANI): BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda on Saturday highlighted the significant progress India has made under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, particularly in the areas of healthcare, infrastructure, and poverty alleviation.
Addressing a gathering of doctors in Ranchi, Nadda praised their contributions."When I met with the doctors, fraternity numbers may be low but the specialisation is high. Your works are amplified in society", the BJP National President said.
Nadda then underlined that development is taking place across all sectors, not just in healthcare. "Development is not just happening in health but in all fields and sectors," he stated. He also reflected on the BJP's historic success.
Nadda added, "After 60 years, it was the first time in the country that you brought the government in the third consecutive term of Modi. Today their mouths are shut down who earlier criticised us."
The BJP leader also highlighted the government's major investments in infrastructure, with Rs 20 lakh crores spent to transform the country. "Did you see the changes in the infrastructure of the country? Our opposition always criticised us, they called our country uneducated, but our PM brought optical fibre to our villages," Nadda added.
He also pointed out the strength of India's leadership, saying, "The power of India is with the right person and the right party. Those who used to ridicule our country, today their mouths are shut." He further mentioned the significant investments in infrastructure, noting that "in the last 10 years, Rs 90 lakh crore has been spent only on infrastructure."
Nadda also praised the government's initiatives, including the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, which provides 5 kg of free food grains each month to 80 crore people. "25 crore people have come out of the poverty line," he added.
Nadda also pointed out the advancement in rural areas. "In the villages of India, people are lifting a bundle of grass with one hand and operating a mobile phone in another... Even vegetable vendors are accepting payment through QR codes",he said.
Nadda also discussed global economic instability, stating, "The economies of America, Europe, Australia, and Japan are unstable. China doesn't reveal, but its economy is also in problem. The International Monetary Fund has said that if there is a bright spot, then that is India... India will soon become the 3rd largest economy."
He then hailed India's resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic, stating, "During the Corona pandemic, America's economy and health system faltered, the economy of Japan and Europe faltered, but India stood strong."
Addressing the issue of brain drain, the BJP MP said, "There was a time when it was discussed--Brain Drain. Today we are saying that we are not only worried about India but the world," and underscored the importance of doctors and paramedics to serve both India and the world.
"We will leave no stone unturned in making doctors and we will also take paramedics to that level so that along with the country, we can serve the world as well," he stressed.
Before the interactive session with doctors, Union Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda also played a traditional drum.

Earlier in the day, Nadda vowed that if the BJP comes to power in Jharkhand, it will throw every Bangladeshi infiltrator out of the state.
He also declared that children born from infiltrators marrying local women would not be granted tribal rights. "Every Bangladeshi will be thrown out of Jharkhand and along with that...the children born from them will not be given any tribal rights," Nadda said. He criticised the ruling JMM-Congress government for failing to deliver on promises like unemployment allowances, jobs, and women's financial aid, calling it "a deceitful government; a government of liars and thieves."
The 81-member Jharkhand Assembly will go to polls in two phases on November 13 and 20, with vote counting scheduled for November 23.
In the 2019 Assembly elections, the JMM won 30 seats, the BJP won 25, and the Congress won 16. (ANI)
