New Delhi [India], Dec. 6(ANI): Condoling the demise of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Tuesday said the former was a pioneer in serving the people of Tamil Nadu.

New Delhi [India], Dec. 6(ANI): Condoling the demise of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Tuesday said the former was a pioneer in serving the people of Tamil Nadu. Mahajan said, "Not only Tamil Nadu but the whole nation mourns over the demise of Jayalalithaa. She was a pioneer in serving the people of Tamil Nadu. She was a very good administrator. She had started a lot of good works for women. That's why we see that women loved her most," The Lok Sabha Speaker further said there are very rare leaders whom the people actually love. "The death of Jayalalithaa is loss for the political arena. I give her tributes from our side. We will give tribute to her in Lok Sabha." she added. Both houses of Parliament were adjourned for the day after paying tribute to late Tamil Nadu chief minister. Jayaylalithaa's national flag-draped body is lying in state at Chennai's Rajajji Hall for people from all walks of life to pay homage. (ANI)
