Jammu: Two civilians killed as Pakistan violates ceasefire in Nowshera

Jammu [India], May. 13 (ANI): Two civilians have been killed as Pakistan Army continued its unprovoked ceasefire violation in Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, to which the Indian troops are giving a befitting reply.

Jammu [India], May. 13 (ANI): Two civilians have been killed as Pakistan Army continued its unprovoked ceasefire violation in Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, to which the Indian troops are giving a befitting reply. Another civilian has been injured, and has been rushed for immediate treatment. "Pakistani Army initiated indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics, 82 mm and 120 mm mortars from 0715 hours along the Line of Control (LC) in Naushera sector," said an official statement. Meanwhile, the Indian Army posts are retaliating strongly and effectively and the firing is presently on. On Thursday, two Pakistan Army soldiers were injured in retaliatory firing from the Indian side post a ceasefire violation in the Nowshera sector. A woman was killed and her husband was injured in the ceasefire violation. Pakistani troops reportedly fired 120 mm mortars early in the morning in the area. More details to follow. (ANI)
