Feb. 18 (ANI): There was no loss of life or injury to any person when the army carried out a practice firing in which a rocket landed near a cultivated field on the outskirts Jaisalmer's Mohangarh area, the officials said on Thursday. "In a rare incident during practice firing at Pokhran Field firing ranges, a rocket landed in a cultivated field on the outskirts of the range boundary. There was no loss of life or injury to any person. Safety norms are strictly observed by armed forces during field firing. The cause of the rocket over shooting the range boundary is being investigated," the officials said. Reportedly, the incident took place at around noon when the explosion was heard. Immediately, the police officials rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation. (ANI)
