J-K Legislative council chairman reviews arrangements for Budget Session

Jammu(Jammu and Kashmir)[India], Dec. 28(ANI): Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, Haji Anayat Ali on Wednesday convened a meeting with the officers from police and civil administration to discuss the arrangements put in place for forthcoming Budget Session commencing from January 2.

Jammu(Jammu and Kashmir)[India], Dec. 28(ANI): Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, Haji Anayat Ali on Wednesday convened a meeting with the officers from police and civil administration to discuss the arrangements put in place for forthcoming Budget Session commencing from January 2. Special Director General of Police (Coordination and Law and Order) Dr. S P. Vaid, Additional Director General Security Dilbagh Singh, Inspector General of Police Security, Jagjit Kumar, IGP Jammu Danish Rana, IG Traffic S A Watali, Director Estates Dr G N Itoo, Deputy Director Information, Avleen Kour and other senior officers were present in the meeting. Threadbare discussions were held on different issues regarding security and other related matters. The chairman was apprised about the security arrangements made in and around the Legislature Complex. The chairman enjoined upon the concerned officers and employees of Legislative Council Secretariat to ensure fool proof arrangements are made for the session. Earlier, the chairman held an interaction meet with the media persons and discussed various issues with regard to the smooth coverage of the budget session. Seeking full cooperation from the media fraternity, the chairman said that necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure wide coverage of the proceedings of the session in a hassle-free manner.(ANI)
