It's people's movement: Gujjar leader on notice over reservation stir

Sawai Madhopur (Rajasthan) [India]. Feb 12 (ANI): Gujjar quota stir entered fifth day on Tuesday even as the community leader Kirori Singh Bainsla defined the agitation as ‘the people’s movement.’
"Movement is not spearheaded by me; it’s the people who are making me do it. These people have said it categorically that this time, no negotiations should take place in Jaipur. Negotiations should take place here in their presence," Bainsla, who was served a notice by the Rajasthan state government over the stir, told ANI.
The district administration has curtailed internet services in the region. During the total internet shutdown, all types of data services have been restricted, as per an official statement.
The administration also issued a notice to Bainsla, stating that agitators are violating the law and are in contempt of the Supreme Court order. 
Bainsla had, on Monday, said: "We will leave only after getting 5 per cent reservation. It’s my personal request to the government, don’t do anything which can provoke people of Rajasthan, people are waiting for my instructions. Let’s sort it out in a peaceful manner. The earlier the better."
Members of the Gujjar community are demanding 5 percent reservation under the Special Backwards Category. (ANI)
