Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], November 23 (ANI): Ahead of counting votes for the Jharkhand assembly polls, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Manoj Pandey on Saturday said that there was a clear voice from the people of Jharkhand that Hemant Soren would return.
Speaking to ANI, Pandey said "There is a clear voice from the people of Jharkhand. Iss baar phir Hemant dobara, Hemant Soren will return. Women, students and the people of Jharkhand have reposed their faith and we trust them. The excitement that was seen during the campaigning and day of elections clearly showed that we are coming to power again with an absolute majority."
Further, he said that although the seats predicted could be a number less or more it was sure that Hemant Soren would form a strong government.
"The number in the counting might differ by a number or two, but I am sure that Hemant Soren would form a strong government here. The opposition might get some seats but it will be the win of Hemant Soren," he added.
JMM candidate from Ranchi, Mahua Maji said that she had seen trust in the eyes of the people and was fully confident about the party's win.

"I have seen trust in the eyes of the people and I am fully confident that the people of Ranchi will definitely elect us. I will definitely fulfill their expectations and dreams. Hemant Soren and the work done by the government has made people raise their expectations. So we will form the government and do the work that we could not due to the shortage of the time," Maji said.
Further, she said that the exit polls predicted by Axis My India exit polls were the most reliable.
"If you look, the polls predicted by the Axis My India are the most reliable...The number of women who have voted are in large numbers so you can understand that our government has helped the women. During the BJP government here, there was a sudden rise in human trafficking, and education, health, and infrastructure also failed. Our government despite all the problems fulfilled every promise. I am sure Hemant Soren will form the government here and we will definitely work on his dreams to strengthen the state.. BJP just knows how to show dreams. They only are creating hatred in the minds of the people and the people here will never accept it.. I will not let the people fall, there will be a rise of Ranchi," Maji further added.
In Jharkhand, the first phase of polling was conducted in 43 of the 81 assembly seats on November 13.
Among the constituents of the INDIA bloc, JMM is contesting 43 seats, Congress 30, RJD six, and CPI(ML) four. The BJP is contesting 68 seats, AJSU 10, JD(U) two, and LJP one seat.
In the previous assembly election, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha won 30 seats, the BJP 25, and Congress 16 seats. (ANI)
