Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], January 4 (ANI): BRS leader Dasoju Sravan Kumar went all guns blazing against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Sunday for his recent remarks in the Telangana Legislative Assembly, terming him a "cheap minister".
"I appeal to the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and the most senior leader of the Congress party, Rahul Gandhi ji. What kind of Chief Minister have you given to Telangana, sir? Is he a Chief Minister or a cheap minister? Today, the entire Telangana Assembly has become a big joke," Kumar told ANI.
He further called the Chief Minister "blind and arrogant" and his comments "cheap and nonsensical", urging Rahul Gandhi to take action.
"He is a psychopath. Such a psychopathic Chief Minister is now abusing his fellow MLAs in the Assembly. I think he has become blind with arrogance. And because of this, I think he is making cheap, nonsensical comments that are unconstitutional and undemocratic. I request Rahul Gandhi ji to take action against him," he said.
Accusing the CM of using disgraceful statements against former CM K Chandrashekar Rao, he asked Rahul Gandhi to "mend Reddy's ways or end his regime".
"There is no limit to his abusive language, sir. This man has the audacity to issue fatwas against KCR every day. He is talking that KCR should die, he should be pelted with stones, and that he should be stripped in public. And yesterday, he went to an extremely lunatic level of disrespect for KCR and Naresh Rao in the Assembly. I appeal to Rahul Gandhi to open his eyes and ears and mend the ways of Revanth Reddy or end his regime," Kumar said.
"If you don't take an action, the people of Telangana will take an action, not only against Revanth Reddy but the entire Congress party," he said.
Moreover, Kumar called for the formation of an inquiry committee to investigate the various state matters, stating that the Assembly floor should not be used for such disgraceful conversation. (ANI)
