INS Viraat took its last journey from Kochi to Mumbai before being decommissioned

Kochi (Kerala) [India], Oct. 23 (ANI): After over five decades of service, the Navy on Sunday said goodbye to the world's oldest aircraft carrier INS Viraat from here.

INS Viraat took its last journey from Kochi to Mumbai before being decommissioned
Kochi (Kerala) [India], Oct. 23 (ANI): After over five decades of service, the Navy on Sunday said goodbye to the world's oldest aircraft carrier INS Viraat from here. Viraat has sailed under tow for the very last time from Kochi and is being towed to Mumbai, to be decommissioned soon. Viraat, a British-built ship, was acquired in May 1987. After getting decommissioned, the Navy will hand over INS Viraat to the Andhra Pradesh government. (ANI)
