Infiltration has increased in Seemanchal region: Bihar Minister Ramsurat Rai

Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Rajiv Rai on Wednesday expressed support for the impeachment motion moved by the Trinamool Congregainst Css ahief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, alleging irregularities related to voters' lists.

"The Election Commission is a constitutional body. Conducting the SIR process is their right. What do these people want? Do they want to win by using the fake votes of Bangladeshis, Rohingyas, infiltrators, the deceased, and those with double entries? This cannot happen. The people of Bengal have the right to the resources of Bengal, not the infiltrators and Bangladeshis," he said.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday said that development work is progressing steadily in the state with the cooperation of the central government.

In a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai said that during the same period, 243 civilians were killed and 599 civilians were injured in terror-related incidents across the country.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue and Land Reforms Department Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, on Tuesday, called the strike by revenue employees and circle officers a "conspiracy."
