Indisposed Jaitley’s portfolios temporarily given to Goyal

New Delhi,[India] Jan 23 (ANI) In view of Arun Jaitley’s indisposition, his portfolios of Finance and Corporate Affairs were on Wednesday temporarily given to Piyush Goyal, according to a communiqué from the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

New Delhi, [India] Jan 23 (ANI) In view of Arun Jaitley’s indisposition, his portfolios of Finance and Corporate Affairs were on Wednesday temporarily given to Piyush Goyal, according to a communiqué from the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The communiqué said, "President of India, as advised by the Prime Minister, has hereby directed, that during the period of indisposition of Arun Jaitley, Minister; the portfolios of Minister of Finance and Minister of Corporate Affairs held by him, be temporarily assigned to Piyush Goyal, in addition to his existing portfolios."
Jaitley will be designated as ‘Minister without portfolio’ during the period of his indisposition or till such time he is able to resume his work as Minister of Finance and Minister of Corporate Affairs, the statement added.
Jaitley is currently in the US. (ANI)
