India should expose Pak's intention with respect to Dawood Ibrahim: NCP
Mumbai, Aug. 23 (ANI): Responding to the possibility of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim being in Pakistan, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Majeed Memon on Tuesday said India should expose Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's intentions. "The Government of India should wholly expose Nawaz Sharif and his government, it is enough evidence that they are shielding this man (Dawood Ibrahim) and therefore they can without any doubt be termed as people who are supporting terrorist activities," Memon told ANI. Memon said there is no doubt on Dawood dwelling in Pakistan. He said Pakistan has always been in denial mode and never given any weight to dossiers, evidence and documents provided by India on him. The United Nations on Tuesday removed three of the nine places cited by India as the addresses of Dawood Ibrahim in Pakistan after a committee found them to be incorrect. The Security Council Committee pursuant to Resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) enacted the amendments specified with underline and strike through in the entry" concerning Dawood on its ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List of individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo on August 22. India in an evidence to show that Dawood is holed up in Pakistan had in a dossier listed nine residences of the underworld don, stating that he is known to frequently change his locations and addresses in Pakistan.
