India, Panama ties will assume greater depth in coming days : Prez

New Delhi [India], Nov 2 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday extended greetings and felicitations to the government and the people of the Republic of Panama on the eve of their Independence Day and said that relations between the two nations will assume greater depth and context in the coming days.

New Delhi [India], Nov 2 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday extended greetings and felicitations to the government and the people of the Republic of Panama on the eve of their Independence Day and said that relations between the two nations will assume greater depth and context in the coming days. "On behalf of the Government and the people of India, as well as on my own behalf, it gives me immense pleasure to extend warm greetings to the Government and the people of Panama on the occasion of your Independence Day," he said in a message to Juan Carlos Varela Rodriguez, the President of the Republic of Panama. "The traditionally friendly relations between India and Panama have been growing in recent times through diversified trade, close interaction in the multilateral fora and the India-SICA Dialogue. I am confident that our relations will assume greater depth and context in the coming days," he added. He also took the opportunity to extend his best wishes to Rodriguez for his personal well-being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the Republic of Panama. (ANI)
