India needs to cut the diplomatic ties with Pakistan :says Shiv Sena
Mumbai[India],Jan.18(ANI): The Shiv Sena On Wednesday called on the Indian government to seriously consider snapping diplomatic ties with Pakistan following reports that suggested anti-India elements being behind last year's train derailment. Shiv Sena leader Manisha Kayande told ANI, "Pakistan has been encouraged enough, we have to stop assuming such a diplomatic stance with them. This kind of behavior is only encouraging them." On the issue of Demonetisation, she said, "More than 100 people have died in the queues, why is nobody talking about that? All the major economists have expressed their shock over the poorly implemented scheme." She said. She added,"People were at first fearing to discuss it out in open, but now, everybody is freely addressing the elephant in the room. Demonetization has not reaped the promised results." She asked the Prime Minister Modi, whether he is ready to take the responsibility for this misery? On Congress and Samajwadi party alliance, she said, "Its like old friends coming along, two young Netas would ride on the same bicycle, let's see how far they go." On India's relationship with China, she said, "Considering China extends its indirect or sometimes even direct support to Pakistan, it's high time India takes a stand on how to deal with China also." The Bihar Police has probed Pakistan links in the Kanpur train mishap. It has also sought help of the Intelligence Bureau and Research and Analysis Wing for further investigation in this regard. The Indore-Patna train accident claimed lives of about 150 passengers. (ANI)

In an 'X' post, TMC said the government has "ek hi naara, line mein rahe desh bechara," pointing to past governmental measures including demonetisation, the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, the Special Identification Registration (SIR), and now the LPG shortage. The party described demonetisation as a "Tughlaqi farman" that forced ordinary citizens to wait in serpentine queues outside banks and ATMs for days to access their own money. The post also highlighted the 2020 COVID-19 oxygen crisis, when families stood in long lines outside hospitals and suppliers as the public health system collapsed.
